 A source close to the fight has confirmed that Kevin Burns and Anthony Johnson will finally meet again to settle the highly controversial ending to their first fight.
That fight, which took place on July 19, ended when referee Steve Mazzagatti erroneously awarded Burns a TKO victory after Burns poked Johnson in the eye. Burns was warned several times about eye pokes throughout the fight making Mazzagatti's decision even more baffling.
Mazzagatti later apologized directly to Johnson after the incident as first reported here at Fightline.com.
The two are tabbed to meet one another at The Ultimate Fighter 8 Live Finale set for Dec. 13.
