Spencer Fisher vs. Melvin Guillard At UFC 90
Spencer Fisher vs. Melvin Guillard At UFC 90MMAWeekly.com is reporting that UFC lightweights Spencer Fisher and Melvin Guillard will be facing each other in Chicago at UFC 90.

Spencer Fisher most recently defeated Jeremy Stephens at the "Ultimate Fighter Finale" and is a long-time UFC vet.

Guillard recently returned to the UFC after a short break where he fought for Arizona's "Rage in the Cage" promotion. There he defeated Eric Regan via unanimous decision. Upon his return to the UFC, Guillard quickly dispatched of Dennis Siver via TKO in only 36 seconds.

Fans may be happy about the announcement of this match-up between these two fast-paced exciting fighters, but Fisher's trainer and head of Miletich Fighting Systems Pat Miletich, is not pleased.

"Spencer has no reason to fight that guy," Miletich said. "I don’t think Melvin’s earned the right to fight him yet. I think Spencer should be fighting somebody where he’s got something to gain. Spencer obviously would be the favored guy," he continued. "Melvin’s a dangerous kid, but I don’t think Melvin’s a polished fighter at Spencer’s level."

UFC 90 takes place at the Allstate Arena in Chicago on October 25th and will feature a main event bout of Anderson Silva vs. Patrick Cote for the UFC's Middleweight Championship.
