The fight is one of two high profile female bouts on the card; the other being between undefeated MMA superstar Gina Carano and Kelly Kobald.

Sources tell Fightline.com that Carano will likely meet Cyborg at some point early next year in what would be MMA's most highly anticipated female match up. This, of course, is contingent on both woman getting past their respective opponents on Oct. 4.

With wins in their respective fights, Cyborg and Carano could be on a collision course for early 2009.
