 As news that the UFC will in fact be traveling to Portland, Oreg. for UFC 91 on November 15th makes its way around the MMA world, UFC President Dana White is already talking about Super Bowl Weekend. White recently confirmed that the UFC will carry on it's Super Bowl tradition of featuring a fight card on pay-per-view the night before the "big game" and the event will be held in Las Vegas.
White also confirmed that Kenny Florian would next face Joe Stevenson at the event in Portland at the Rose Garden Arena.
Also, White quipped about the return of the "Axe Murderer". Although Silva recently mentioned he hoped to be fighting on the UFC 92 card in Las Vegas on Dec. 27th, White is "thinking [Silva's] not going to be on that (card) at this point." according to Yahoo Sports.
Currently, the UFC's schedule looks like this:
UFC 88: Sept. 6 in Atlanta
UFC Fight Night 15: Sept. 17 in Omaha
UFC 89: Oct. 18 in Birmingham, England
UFC 90: Oct. 25 in Chicago
UFC 91: Nov. 15 in Portland, Ore.
The Ultimate Fighter 8 Finale: Dec. 13 in Las Vegas
UFC 92: Dec. 27 in Las Vegas
UFC 93: Jan. 31 in Las Vegas
