Martin Kampmann will square off against Nate Marquardt at UFC 89 according to MMAWeekly.com. This match up of elite middleweights will likely reveal the divisions next title contender.
Kampmann is coming off of a very impressive performance over Jorge Rivera at UFC 85 and is looking to work his way back up to a title shot after injuring his knee a year ago. He was set to challenge Rich Franklin for the middleweight crown last year before a knee injury forced him out of action.
Marquardt is coming off of a very disappointing loss to Thales Leites in which he dominated most of the fight. Marquardt lost a decision due to scoring infractions levied against him for illegal blows.
