World Victory Road has announced that heavyweight prospect Roger Gracie has been added to the Sengoku 5 card on Sept. 28. The event will be held at the Yoyogi National Gymnasium in Tokyo, Japan.
Gracie is believed to be one of the best heavyweight grapplers still competing and is 2-0 in his MMA career. In his debut fight for BoDog, Gracie submitted Ron Waterman in the first round. Gracie then returned this past May at Sengoku 2, where he choked out Yuki Kondo, also in round one.
Gracie’s opponent for Sengoku 5 has yet to be named.
