Update: John Franchi To Fight Jose Aldo At WEC 36

Earlier this week it was reported that John Franchi had been signed to a five-fight deal by the WEC.

It's now been announced that Franchi will debut at WEC on September 10th and take on Jose Aldo.

Aldo recently defeated Alexandre Franca Nogueira at WEC 34 in Sacramento. The win was widely regarded as an upset. Aldo has a 10-1 record in MMA and will be looking to rudely welcome Franchi to the WEC.
