 The tickets sales figures have been released and EliteXC's "Unfinished Business" event from Stockton, Ca. last Saturday night was a bust. Less than half of the tickets were sold and the live gate was a disappointing $268,715 (3,701 tickets). There was also $340,960 (2,871 tickets) worth of comp'd tickets, and $206,155 (2,023 tickets) in tickets that weren't even used.
Also, as reported earlier today on Fightline, the ratings for the show were less than stellar as well.
To their credit however, fans and media alike have taken note of the improved production values and better pacing of the night's action.
EliteXC will once again return to the CBS airwaves on October 4, and this time time they'll be bringing the cornerstone of their brand, Kimbo Slice with them.
