 Although he was able to successfully defeat Jorge Rivera at UFC 85, Martin Kampmann's doctors have told him he will need arthroscopic surgery on his knee before being able to safely return to action.
Kampmann had just made his return to the octagon after a 15-month absence due to the same torn knee.
Kampmann and his management aren't sure when he'll be able to resume his career in the UFC, but they're hopeful he can rehab and be ready for action by October or November.
