UFC 89 Set for October 18
UFC 89 Set for October 18It seems that Michael Bisping will get to meet up with Chris Leben after all. The two were originally scheduled to battle at UFC 85 in London before Leben had to withdraw in order to serve some jail time for a probation violation in Oregon. With that matter behind him, Leben will turn his attention to Bisping for a main event match up at UFC 89 on October 18. The news was confirmed late last week by Marshall Zelaznik, President of the UFC's UK division.

Bisping (16-1) looked fantastic against Leben's replacement at UFC 85, Jason Day, earning a stoppage via TKO in the first round. His only loss as a professional came in the form of a controversial decision at the hands of fellow TUF alum Rashad Evans.

The highly aggressive, Chris Leben (18-4), is coming off of back to back knockouts over Terry Martin and Alessio Sakara and will surely look to push the pace against Bisping. He holds notable wins over Mike Swick, Patrick Cote and Jorge Santiago.
