According to Caplin, the committee for Tourism, Arts, and Sports Development of New York overwhelmingly voted down a proposed bill that would regulate MMA in New York yesterday and in what was termed “highly irregular” will be put back up for vote early next week with a good chance of passing. Caplin is reporting that Dana White had assurances that the bill would pass and that this was set to be his “big” announcement. Stay tuned.
