Frank Edgar has announced via his personal website, that he will be fighting at UFC 87 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Edgar dropped a tough decision loss to Gray Maynard in his last fight at Ultimate Fight Night 13 in Denver, Colorado.

Edgar is viewed as a rising star in the UFC's lightweight division, despite the setback against Maynard, having reeled of 8 consecutive victories in his first eight MMA fights, beating the likes of Tyson Griffin, Mark Bocek and Spencer Fischer. He looks to get back on track in Minnesota against an, as of yet, unnamed opponent.
