Rua was originally slated to face Liddell at UFC 85 in England, but had to pull out due to a ruptured ACL he suffered in his left knee during a practice session.

Ironically, Chuck Liddell was also forced to pull out of the June 7th match up due to a torn hamstring. Expect the UFC to put these two in a cage opposite one another as soon as both men heal from their respective injuries.
