Round 1 of this middleweight title bout opens with both fighters circling, feeling each other out, Hendo lands an inside leg kick. Dan comes over the top with his right, Silva counters with an uppercut and front kick. Dan clinches with Silva, gets a bodylock and takes Silva down. Dan in Silva's half guard lands a couple shots. Hendo controlling Silva on the floor and landing hammer fists to Silva's temple. Henderson putting his hand over Silva's mouth to disrupt Silva's breathing, still landing ground and pound. Round 2 opens with Silva landing a kick to Henderson's body. Hendo lurches forward and lands a kick, Silva punishes Hendo with a combination. Dan comes forward with a looping right. Dan clinches Silva against the cage, lands knees. Silva escapes. Silva catches Henderson with a devestating knee! Silva gets in Henderson's half guard. Iron jaw Hendo recovering, Silva attempts to pass guard. Silva gets Dan's back. Silva gets underhooks and backmount on Henderson Silva gets body triangle, Hendo in trouble! 30 seconds left! Hendo trying to survive. Silva sinks in a rear naked choke. Dan taps. Fight over.
