15Rounds.com recently spoke to
Keith Jardine about what’s coming up next for him. Here’s what he had to say, “there’s a good chance (
Forrest Griffin) wins the fight (with Rampage Jackson) and that means I’m in line to get the next fight”. The only hitch though is that there’s a rumor that Jardine is going to be fighting in June and that his opponent will probably be the former
PRIDE champion
Wanderlei Silva. Jardine’s upset victory over
Chuck Liddell back in September erased the shocking loss he absorbed from
Houston Alexander.
Jardine went to town on Liddell’s lead leg during the fight which led many to believe that Liddell’s punches didn’t pack as much power as they normally would’ve. Of course Liddell went on to beat Wanderlei Silva by decision at UFC 79.
With Liddell taking on Mauricio “Shogun” Rua, Wanderlei Silva facing Keith Jardine on the London card, things are looking pretty sexy in the UFC’s Light Heavyweight division.
