How far is too far? Well it seems like we’re getting closer and closer to that line as The Fight Network is now reporting that Zuffa, LLC. is filing an injunction that if held, would prevent Randy Couture from being at the IFL event on February 29th at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas. Xtreme Couture has a team that is going to participate in the IFL as a camp this year with Shawn Tompkins as the coach of the team, Randy on the other hand would be there to corner his fighters.

There’s a lot of legal mumbo-jumbo that goes into this injunction, but the question that we have to ask is, ‘does cornering a fighter that you train count as a breach of contract?’ It does seem strange as the IFL itself won’t be paying Couture to corner his own fighters, so this will definitely clarify part of Couture’s contract.

The latest move by Zuffa, LLC. is not a surprising one as most saw it coming ever since Xtreme Couture was announced as a camp in the IFL’s new season.
