EliteXC: Street Certified does sound like a name of a video game, but its actually the name of EliteXC’s upcoming event on Saturday that’ll feature Kimbo Slice’s second MMA bout against David “Tank” Abbott. The fight has been hyped up on Jimmy Kimmel, Inside MMA and various other outlets, but now EliteXC is taking it a step further. According to a report from DogHouseBoxing, Miami-based rapper “Pitbull” will be performing sometime during the broadcast.

This will be the first major MMA event that I know of that will feature a live performance by an artist, so it’ll be interesting to see this coming Saturday on Showtime.
