Brock Lesnar is set to face Frank Mir this Saturday in a highly anticipated match up. Lesnar had some interesting things to say about why Mir was chosen to be his opponent and he also revealed a bit of his strategy going into the fight.

“I have to look at (Mir) from a career and business standpoint,” said Lesnar. “Career-wise I have an incredible opponent that will elevate me as a fighter. Business-wise I needed someone with credibility; they couldn’t put me with a no-name guy because of my status. This was a good decision.”

“I think (Mir) has shown that he crumbles under pressure; his conditioning needs to be better. Obviously, he has a black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu but he’s not great on his feet. I’m going to challenge that.”
