 Dream has made the fight official for "FieLDS Dynamite!! 2008" after the fight had been rumored for weeks. Eddie Alvarez and Shinya Aoki were originally supposed to fight in the DREAM Lightweight Grand Prix finals but an injury forced Alvarez to pull out which allowed Joachim Hansen to fill his spot and beat Aoki to win the Grand Prix.
Fans will finally get to see the finals they were waiting for and there will be a title on the line. A press release was sent out this morning stating that the fight will be for the WAMMA Lightweight title.
There is only one other WAMMA champion right now and that's the WAMMA Heavyweight champion, Fedor Emelianenko who was crowned after demolishing Tim Sylvia last July at "Affliction: Banned".
