 UFC Lightweight fighter Joe Lauzon has announced via his personal website that he will be taking on former #1 contender in Hermes Franca on February 7th.
The fight will take place on the Ultimate Fight Night 17 card and is scheduled for the USF Sun Dome in Tampa, Florida.
Here's what Lauzon had to say about his next opponent:
"Hermes is VERY heavy handed to complement his black belt in Jiu-Jitsu and is always dangerous. I was given a few different fight options, but thought the fight with Hermes would be the most challenging and most exciting."
