 Gilbert Yvel has signed a three-fight contract with Affliction Entertainment that begins with a bout against one of the top Heavyweights in the world in Josh Barnett.
The two will square off on Affliction's second event titled "Day of Reckoning" on January 24th.
Barnett was originally scheduled to face Andrei Arlovski in the main event due to Fedor Emelianenko's hand injury but the injury has healed and Barnett was left looking for another opponent.
