Bisping talks about moving to middleweight, Marcus Davis on Jess Liaudin and more
Marcus "The Irish Hand Grenade" Davis and Michael "The Count" Bisping were guests on the latest edition of PWB's Official Podcast with Lex and Ian located at pwbpodcast.com.

Davis spoke about his upcoming fight at UFC 80 against Jess ‘The Joker' Liaudin, his current 10 fight win streak, his pro boxing career and much more:

His thoughts on Jess "The Joker" Liaudin:

"I think that Jess is a dangerous opponent. He's definitely gotten a lot better in the last couple of years and he hasn't lost a fight in over two years. So I think he's a lot more dangerous than people think he is and this is gonna be the toughest fight I've ever had. With that being said I've really trained my ass off for this fight. The Marcus Davis that he's gonna see that night in the cage isn't the same Marcus Davis that he's seen and everybody else has seen in the octagon. I'm on a 10-fight win streak and I'm certainly looking forward to 11."

On Jess promising not to take Marcus down but to stand and fight with him:

"That's just talk. That's just talk to try and get to me, if he's trying to play headgames with me, which is real stupid to do for the fact that I've had over 100 fights. I'm not going in expecting him to stand with me, it's not gonna happen. Anybody that says they're gonna stand with me in the welterweight division is stupid, why handicap yourself?...When I start laying leather on his face, he's gonna shoot, he's gonna try and take me down. His best game is on the ground, he's a good stand up fighter but not a great stand up fighter. I'm a world class MMA stand up fighter, he's not."

Bisping spoke about his move to the middleweight division, his possible first fight in the division, winning the third season of "The Ultimate Fighter," his main event at UFC 78 against Rashad Evans and more:

His thoughts on his recent move to the middleweight division:

"Well, ever since I started fighting MMA a lot of people said I was to small for the light-heavyweight division but at the time I was knocking people out quite quickly and I was having a lot of success so I didn't really see the point...I spoke to Joe Silva and I spoke to Dana White last May, whenever the UFC was in Belfast. I spoke to them about it and they seemed to think it was a great idea. So anyway when I lost to Rashad on that close decision I felt that maybe now was a good time. You know. Like I said I was always undersized for this division anyway so I'll have a fresh start at middleweight".
