 Coming off of a victory over Patrick Cote at UFC 90, Anderson “The Spider” Silva recently spoke to Fighting Talk about a potential opponent in Michael Bisping. “Bisping is a good fighter, but he still has to prove himself as a top fighter.” Silva responded.
For those who feel that Silva took a shot at Bisping when he made that comment, think again as Bisping recently said something very similar after his win over Chris Leben at UFC 89.
“I don't think I'm there yet. I probably need one or two more solid fights over solid opponents. You've got to earn that right. And when I earn that opportunity, I want to be ready.” Bisping said when asked if he was ready to face Anderson Silva.
