Rich Franklin is planning a return to the octagon in Canada on April 19 at UFC 84 to face Travis Lutter, according to TheFightNetwork. While nothing has been made official, this contradicts what we have been hearing of Franklin returning in June (for that article, click here).

The fight was originally scheduled for UFC 82 in Columbus, Ohio where Franklin is a huge draw, but had to be postponed so that Franklin could undergo knee surgery to repair his MCL.

Both fighters are coming off of loses at the hands of middleweight champion Anderson Silva.
