 Online Broadcasting Systems, the parent company of RingSports, has formally made a bid to purchase “internet-related aspects” of EliteXC. The “internet-related aspects” would include EliteXC’s websites, including its social networking features. RingSports CEO Manny Fernandez said in a statement, “I hope we can build on some of the great aspects of their internet foundation, especially the technology of their websites and their social networking aspects.”
No purchase amount has been announced but is expected to be revealed at some point later this week.
OBS is reaching out to many “veterans” of the social networking world to put together something that all MMA fans will feel in-touch with and getting EliteXC’s online content certainly won’t hurt.
