The preliminary fights are up first (not shown on PPV).

The first fight of the night is Michihiro Omigawa vs. Matt Wiman. Wiman won the fight via unanimous decision. Two judges scored the fight 29-28 for Wiman and 1 scored it 30-27. Great fight to start the event.

Scott Junk vs. Christian Wellisch is up next. Wellisch submitted Scott Junk at 3:19 of Round 1.

Diego Saraiva vs. Jeremy Stephens is up now. Stephens dominated all three rounds and won by unanimous decision with all three judges scoring the fight 30-27.

Andy Johnson vs. Rich Clementi is up next and is the final prelim match. Clementi got a rear-naked choke on Johnson in the second round to get the tap out victory at 3:05 of the the second round.

The prelims are over, the PPV is about to begin.

The PPV will start with Tyson Griffin vs. Thiago Tavares.

Tyson Griffin vs. Thiago Tavares
Round 1: Tyson hit a good kick and took Thiago down about 2.5 minutes in the first round. Fast paced round with Tyson coming ahead on every exchange. I score it 10-9 for Tyson.

Round 2: Tavares hit a big flying knee early in the round to shake up Tyson and have the advantage. Tavares got on Tyson's back and nailed him with a series of punches before Tyson reversed it in 2:30 of round 2. Fast paced round that went back and forth. Tyson dropped Tavares with 40 seconds left in the round, cutting Tavares. Great second round. I'd score it 10-9 for Tavares.

Round 3: Both fighters were visible tired, however Tyson dominated the round. Great fight. I'd score the third round 10-9 for Tyson.

Winner: Tyson Griffin. One judge scored it 30-27 with the other two scoring it 29-28.

Wanderlei Silva was shown in the crowd.

Kazuhiro Nakamura vs. Ryoto Machida
Round 1: Machida started the round with some impressive kicks and body punches.Kind of a slow round. Machida took Nakamura down about 3 minuted into the round, however didn't do much. 10-9 for Machida.

Round 2: Machida took Nakamura early in the round and laid some hard punches on Nakamura. Machida got a full rear naked choke, however lost it. Nakamura is looking visibly exhausted half way into the round. Nakamura finished the round on top, but still a strong round for Machida. 10-9 for Machida.
