While the UFC continues to push for a TV deal in Japan, they haven't neglected negotiations elsewhere having successfully finalized a deal with Showtime of the United Abab Emirates, this according to the WrestlingObserver.com.

Showtime in the UAE,(no relation to Showtime in the U.S.) has added UFC to its lineup. The new deal includes rights for eight seasons of Ultimate Fighter, as well as UFC TV and PPV events. WWE is a big hit on the station and in its press release they say that the UFC complements its WWE shows.
