Dana White Confirms Liddell vs. Silva For UFC 79: Nemesis

UFC President Dana White confirmed tonight on Scream 2007 that Chuck Liddell (20-5) will finally face Wanderlei Silva (31-7-1) at UFC 79: Nemesis.

The oft rumored, highly anticipated match-up between the two mma legends had been hinted for years and will finally occur on December 29 as the second billing, under the main event of Matt Serra vs. Matt Hughes at UFC 79: Nemesis.
