-Tim Sylvia vs. Brandon Vera is up next.

Round 1: Bera comes out and goes right to the clench. He tries to take him to the cage Randy Couture style. They exchange in knees from the clench and Sylvia leans on Vera into the cage. Boo's from the crowd are plentiful as the two remain in the clench and continue to land dirty boxing punches and knees. Vera lands a nice right on Sylvia and they go right back to the clench. Big knees landed by both men but the fight is fairly slow at this point. Sylvia lands some big blows and Vera answers with nice leg kick. They end up back in the clench with Sylvia again leaning on Vera up against the cage. The two exchange a few more shots befor the round ends. I'd give that round to Sylvia 10-9 due to controlling the action and landing the cleaner shots.

Round 2: Vera comes out and lands a big right and the two go back into the clench. Vera looks so much smaller physically than Sylvia. Vera gets Tim up against the cage now and they stall in the clench. They are broken up and both land some decent shots, before going right back to the clench. Sylvia has Vera against the cage and the both exchange knees. Vera takes Sylvia down and is in side control! Sylvia is pinned against the cage and takes knees from Vera but is defending well. Vera lands a huge right knee while Sylvia is trying to get to his feet, and the referee calls a blow to a downed opponent. Sylvia gets time to recover and Vera lands two huge body kicks! Misses with a third and falls on the ground while the round ends. Big round for Vera, 10-9.

Round 3: Vera goes out and gets right to the clench again. Now the two exchange at shots at center cage. Sylvia lands some nice shots and pushes Vera against the cage. They go back to the clench again with Sylvia pushing Vera against the fence again. Vera tuns Sylvia around and presses him against the fence to a smathering of boo's from the crowd. Time lands some big punches to Vera' head. Vera covers up and Sylvia comes out on top in that exchange. Vera doesn't seem to have a whole lot left in the tank right now. The referee again stops the fight this time to fix tape on Vera's glove. Vera comes out with a nice kick but Sylvia lands a flurry of nice blows. A huge cut has now opened on the top of Vera's head. Vera's is getting dominated now in center cage. Sylvia lands strike after strike and the round ends. Sylvia has won this fight in my opinion. I score the last round 10-9.
