Big thanks goes out to MMAhaven.com who were the first site to break this story:
Please take the following with a grain of salt as nothing will be confirmed for certain until Monday's press conference in New York featuring Fedor Emelianenko and executives from M-1.
According to mmahaven.com, sources close to M-1 have revealed the following: -American MMA Super Agent Monte Cox will be the new CEO of M-1.
-Fedor's contract is said to be a five fight deal worth 12 million dollars.
-Mark Cuban is likely to be involved with M-1 at some point in the near future.
-TV deals are being negotiated with HBO and possibly Showtime though nothing has been signed, it looks like the UFC may have missed their chance.
-Fedor's opponent is still unnamed but will likely be a former PRIDE heavyweight.
Check back soon. Well have more information as it comes down.
