Nate Diaz Tries To Play His Own Matchmaker

Nate Diaz was announced over the weekend to be fighting Gray Maynard for a third time later this year at The Ultimate Fighter 18 Finale.

Diaz, though, feels he is in line to compete for the UFC lightweight title next.

On Twitter, the former contender posted, “Nah (expletive) that I’m fightin (Anthony) Pettis.”

Pettis recently became the new champion when he bested Benson Henderson, the same man who beat Diaz last year.

Following a second straight loss to Josh Thomson, Diaz was suspended and fined by the UFC for comments he made.
