The World Series of Fighting (WSOF) wasn’t lying when they said Miguel Torres would be booked again. Torres wrote on Facebook that he would be competing at WSOF 6, but not opponent was provided.
Ray Sefo, WSOF president, suggested a potential matchup with Tyson Nam if both parties agreed. Torres was recently arrested on a misdemeanor marijuana possession.
“As far as I know, Tyson definitely wants that fight,” said Sefo. “So that’s a good fight. We all make mistakes, and Miguel has obviously run into a situation, and we’ll support him. He’s still fighting for World Series of Fighting.”
Torres dropped a split-deicsion to Marlon Moraes at WSOF 1. Nam was knocked out at WSOF 2 by Moraes.
WSOF 6 comes from the BankUnited Center in Coral Gables, FL on October 26.
