He’s got a polarizing personality, but since he’s got some top-level skills to go with it, Michael Bisping has done well for himself both in and out of the cage. In fact, although Bisping will likely never get a title shot, the TUF 3 winner/TUF coach/resident Octagon bad guy remains one of the most sought-after fighters in the middleweight division (i.e., he’ll always have work).
Provided his recovering eye remains okay, “The Count” is expected to face Tim Kennedy at the TUF Nations Finale on April 16 – a match-up that makes sense only insofar as Kennedy did the most effective job in calling the Brit out. Ahead of that fight, UK media outlet BT Sport did a sit-down interview with Bisping, and while they touched upon many subjects, the most interesting segment was the part dealing with his crushing knockout at the hands of Dan Henderson at UFC 100. Did you know Bisping was so walloped that he couldn’t remember the fight at all, and had to be convinced that it had happened? Watch the video and hear about it yourself.
