Famous actress Meryl Streep was honored during Sunday night’s Golden Globes with a lifetime achievement award.
During her speech, Streep took a shot at MMA through Donald Trump, who was recently elected the next President of the United States of America.
“Who are we, and what is Hollywood anyway? It’s just a bunch of people from other places,” Streep said. “So, Hollywood is crawling with outsiders and foreigners. And if we kick them all out, we’ll have nothing to watch but football and mixed martial arts, which are not the arts.”
Bellator president Scott Coker was among those who responded on social media, offering Streep an up-close look at MMA during Bellator 170 this month in Los Angeles.
