Matt Grice-Jeremy Larsen Removed From UFC 166

UFC officials have taken a planned bout between Matt Grice and Jeremy Larsen for UFC 166 off the schedule following Grice’s car accident.

Grice, who was rear-ended over the weekend, remains in the hospital under doctor supervision. He continues to be examined.

The UFC released a statement in regards to Grice, “The UFC sends its thoughts and prayers to featherweight Matt Grice, who was involved in a serious auto accident over the weekend in his native Oklahoma that required surgery. Grice is currently in the intensive care unit and more details on his condition will be posted as they are received.”
