Marlon Moraes’ Perfect Year Leads To A Future WSOF Title Shot

Marlon Moraes called 2013 his perfect year and it will all payoff shortly. World Series of Fighting (WSOF) president Ray Sefo has informed Moraes his next fight will be for the bantamweight championship.

“This is what Ray said, that my next fight is going to be for the title in March,” said Moraes. “I’m going to work so hard to get this. I’m training with the best guys in the world, and I want to fight the best guys in the world. It doesn’t matter who they’re going to find for me, I’m going to be ready.”

Since coming to the WSOF, Moraes has earned four wins. Two came in the first round, with the lasting fight taking 32 seconds to stop Carson Beebe.

The title shot will take place during early 2014.
