Anthony Pettis, Carla Esparza, Joe Warren and Justin Gaethje are all penciled in to defend their respective titles this month.
March is known for the NCAA Basketball Tournament and NCAA Wrestling Championships, but MMA is making sure to get in the spotlight, as well.
After a slow start to the month, we’ll pick things up in Dallas on March 14 with UFC 185, as Pettis defends his lightweight title vs. Rafael dos Anjos and Esparza puts her female strawweight gold on the line for the first time.
Here’s a look inside those cards:

The saying is that everything is bigger in Texas, and the UFC wants to prove that.
Pettis and dos Anjos is as exciting of matchup as you can get in the 155-pound division. “Showtime” is just that, as the champion has earned thrilling wins over the likes of Benson Henderson and Gilbert Melendez.
Dos Anjos, meanwhile, has won three straight and is 8-1 in his last nine overall, losing only a decision to unbeaten Khabib Nurmagomedov.
Esparza and Joanna Jedrzejczyk, though, might just steal the show. As they proved on The Ultimate Fighter, these 115-pound females are not to be taken lightly and love engaging in brawls.
Along with those two title fights, former champion Johny Hendricks meets top contender Matt Brown and heavyweights Alistair Overeem and Roy Nelson square off. We’ll also see Henry Cejudo, a former U.S. Olympic gold medalist, compete at flyweight.
