Since losing to Francis Carmont back in 2012 in his UFC debut, Magnus Cedenblad has been perfect.
That run continues Sunday, as the Swede finished Garreth McLellan in the second round at UFC Fight Night 87.
Cedenblad (14-4) has now won four in a row, including three of them via finish. This, though, was his first TKO since a 2010 win on the regional circuit in his native country. He has now bested McLellan, Scott Askham, Krzysztof Jotko and Jared Hamman.
“It was a hard kick then I finished it off,” he said. “I started good with the body then the head. Good work.”
Due to injuries, Cedenblad spent all of 2015 on the sidelines.
“I have a lot of new skills to develop,” he said. “I feel I am getting better. This is the beginning of something very good.”
