Former Strikeforce champion Luke Rockhold was suppose to be competing this Saturday at UFC 166 against Tim Boetsch.
However, a knee injury knocked Rockhold out of action.
Thanks to rest and rehab, the fighter is slowly being allowed back into more training, including boxing activities.
“Saw my Doc this morning. Gave me clearance to start boxing,” Rockhold posted on Twitter. “Went straight to the gym to start punching people! Haha feels great!”
Rockhold (10-2) dropped his UFC debut to Vitor Belfort this past May, halting a nine-fight win streak he had strung together.
