A former Strikeforce fighter is asking for a match with KJ Noons.
Isaac Vallie-Flagg, who trains at Jackson’s MMA, made a plea to face Noons inside the Octagon. Noons is also a former member of the Strikeforce roster.
“I would love to get after it with KJ Noons,” Vallie-Flagg posted on Twitter, “guy I respect in the division and we could put on a show!”
The 35-year-old Vallie-Flagg (14-3-1) hasn’t lost since 2007, going 11-0-1 in 12 fights. That includes a decision victory over Yves Edwards earlier this year.
All three of Vallie-Flagg’s Strikeforce and UFC wins have come via split decision.
Noons, meanwhile, is 12-7 and earned his first UFC win with a decision over George Sotiropoulos this month. He is 2-5 in his last seven fights overall dating back to Strikeforce.
