Jose Aldo on Anthony Pettis, Super-Fights, and More

UFC lightweight champ Anthony Pettis came close to never competing for the divisional belt after an attempted run at featherweight king Jose Aldo’s crown. However, a last minute injury took Pettis out of the match-up and set the table for him to eventually cross paths with former 155-pound title-holder Benson Henderson. While Pettis is set to make the next defense of his belt in December against Josh Thomson, Aldo is still without a future foe. While names like Ricardo Lamas and Cub Swanson have surfaced as possibilities, Aldo pointed fans in a different direction when asked about Pettis and a potential super-fight by the folks at MMAJunkie.
