Former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones sent in his “B” test sample in hopes of proving the USADA wrong.
USADA spokesman Ryan Madden issued a statement Friday following the results being provided to the company.
“I can confirm that Mr. Jones’ B sample results have been reported by the laboratory, and that the results confirm the findings of the A sample.”
Jones tested positive for a banned substance during a June out-of-competition test. He was removed by UFC officials ahead of UFC 200 and his planned main event with Daniel Cormier.
The fighter faces a possible two-year ban from MMA due to the failed drug test.
