Jon Jones Gives His “Official” UFC Light Heavyweight Division Rankings

With his next challenger known now, UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones asked fans to rank the 205-pound division.

After hearing many responses on Twitter, “Bones” revealed his own Top-5.

Jones is set to defend his title vs. Anthony Johnson later this year.

Along with the rankings discussion, he offered up thoughts on a number of other subjects. Jones recently placed himself in a drug rehab facility for a day to help in his recovery from using cocaine.

He tested positive for cocaine metabolites during an early test in December, but is not expected to face any punishment from the Nevada Athletic Commission due to it being an out-of-competition test. Jones went on to defeat Daniel Cormier earlier this month.

With Johnson on the horizon, and the rest of his own Top-5 having already fallen victim to his skills, Jones stated that he will have “cleared the division” by beating Johnson, which makes him “excited.”

Jones is set to attend this Saturday’s UFC 183 card featuring Anderson Silva and Nick Diaz. He has previously conducted a couple of “training sessions” with Silva, who he is picking to win.

Jones also revealed his three toughest opponents to date, naming Alexander Gustafsson, Stephan Bonnar and Vitor Belfort.

And finally, Jones continued his extended Twitter Q&A by picking either Chris Weidman to win a decision over Belfort, or for the Brazilian to win via knockout. Also, he said that the Ronda Rousey-Cat Zingano title fight is “going to be competitive.”
