Johny Hendricks and Georges St-Pierre want to know who the best fighter is, so to reduce any questions both volunteered for VADA testing. The welterweight champ has signed the paperwork, but there’s some stalling on Hendricks’ part.
VADA president Dr. Margaret Goodman spoke to TVA Sports about the situation.
“For the moment, the American has not filled out the paperwork that would give the green light to the anti-doping agency VADA to monitor the confrontation with Quebec in the fall.”
The report claims St-Pierre has already submitted tests. In prior fights, St-Pierre has been drug tested and never failed. Hendricks has never been popped for a failed drug test either.
Hendricks has been talking about his upcoming title shot for well over a year now and enters with knockout power. St-Pierre is the king of the welterweight division, defeating everyone the UFC puts in his path.
They headline the 20th anniversary show on November 16 from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, NV.
