No. 1 contender Johny Hendricks will be sponsored by Reebok when he challenges Georges St-Pierre for the UFC welterweight title this November.
The contest is set for UFC 167 from Las Vegas.
Hendricks’ agent, Oren Hodak of KO Reps, confirmed the two sides of extended their previous deal.
“I am very excited to extend our relationship with Reebok,” Hodak stated on KO Reps’ website. “After our meetings at the Reebok corporate headquarters in Boston, I was confident that a long-term deal was soon to follow. We look forward to providing Reebok with an incredible amount of exposure just as we have done with so many other great sponsors.”
Hendricks and Jamie Varner were backed by Reebok when they competed in the Spartan Race earlier this year. The former NCAA Div. I wrestling champion is 15-1 in his career and 10-1 within the Octagon.
