A handful of well-known MMA fighters picked up wins at the Inoki Bom-Ba-Ye 2014 event. The card took place to celebrate New Year’s Eve in Japan.
In the main event from the Ryogoku Kokugikan in Tokyo, Mirko CroCop earned a knockout victory over Satoshi Ishii to remain the IGF heavyweight champion.
CroCop (30-11-2) was facing Ishii for the second time in four months. He earned a TKO victory over the former 2008 Olympic gold medalist earlier this year.
In other action, Shinya Aoki defeated Yuki Yamamoto and Chris Barnett topped Shinichi Suzukawa. UFC veteran Josh Barnett competed in a pro wrestling match on the card.
