Sonnen is coming off of one of the biggest wins of his career after former champion Paulo Filho basically failed to show up for the fight and was subsequently released by the UFC.

Maia owns a perfect 9-0 record inside the Octagon and will look to continue his winning streak on the way to a future title shot.

With wins over Nate Quarry, Jason MacDonald, Ed Herman and Ryan Jensen, Maia doesn't have a lot left to prove before the UFC gives him a shot at the gold.
