Fedor Skipping U.S. Tour to Train for Andrei Arlovski

WAMMA Heavyweight champion, Fedor Emelianenko, had been scheduled for a U.S. Press Tour that has now been canceled. The reason you ask, he wanted to stay back in Russia in preparation for his January 24th bout against Andrei Arlovski.

Emelianenko has also recently lost his first competition in 8 years as he came up short in a Sambo tournament and ended in 3rd place.

Many feel that Arlovski poses the biggest threat to Emelianenko's title. The fight is scheduled to take place on January 24th at Honda Center in Anaheim, California as apart of the Affliction "Day of Reckoning" main event.
