Over 900 Fighters Show Up For The Ultimate Fighter 9 Tryouts

Over 700 fighters crowded the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Chicago for a chance to be a part of The American team for "The Ultimate Fighter 9"; the most ever for a TUF tryout.

Their contemporaries in London turned out to the tune of 200 more fighters in hopes of making the British team.

The Ultimate Fighter 9 will begin filming this January and is set to feature a US vs. UK theme with lightweights and welterweights being spotlighted. The show will debut in April on SpikeTV.

Michael Bisping will coach his British brethren and the winner of Rich Franklin vs. Dan Henderson at UFC 83 will pick up the US team.
