Two recent UFC signees will be welcoming each other to the octagon at UFC 89 when Jim Miller locks up with David Baron. The event will be held in Birmingham, England and can be watched for free on SpikeTV October 18. Michael "The Count" Bisping vs. Chris "The Crippler" Leben will headline the event.
Miller, who most recently fought in the IFL where he defeated Bart Palaszewski, holds a record of 11-1 with his only loss coming at the hands of Frankie Edgar in 2006.
France's David Baron is 16-2. His most recent win was over the favored Hayato "Mach" Sakurai at Shooto Tradition 1. He also holds two wins over England's Dan Hardy, who will also be debuting at the event. His two losses were to Takanori Gomi and Per Eklund, both in 2006.
